Please read carefully before starting analysis

Quick Safety & Handling

  • Only trained and authorized personnel should handle PT items.
  • Confirm sample integrity upon receipt; notify the PT Provider if damaged.
  • Record date of receipt and store under the specified conditions until analysis.
  • Initiate analysis within 48 hours of receipt.
  • Treat PT items like routine samples and use standard methods unless otherwise instructed.

Result Submission: 15 September 2026 Storage: 2–8 °C until analysis

Revival Instructions

Vial 2026MF39R1-V1

  1. Aseptically uncap the vial and rehydrate with 4 ml sterile saline peptone water (0.1% Peptone + 0.85% NaCl).
  2. Securely recap and allow 5 minutes rehydration at room temperature.
  3. Uncap container 2026MF39R1-1 and aseptically transfer 25 g of sample matrix to the enrichment broth for Salmonella and remaining 25 g to the enrichment broth for Listeria monocytogenes.
  4. Homogenize thoroughly.
  5. Transfer 2 ml rehydrated content to each of the enrichment broths for Salmonella and Listeria monocytogenes.
  6. Perform routine analysis.

Vial 2026MF39R1-V2

  1. Aseptically uncap the vial and rehydrate with 5 ml sterile saline peptone water (0.1% Peptone + 0.85% NaCl).
  2. Securely recap and allow 5 minutes rehydration at room temperature.
  3. Uncap container 2026MF39R1-2 and aseptically transfer 10 g to the sterile bag/bottle/flask and add 85 ml of diluent to each bag/bottle/flask.
  4. Homogenize thoroughly.
  5. Empty rehydrated vial content to the diluent prepared in above step ensuring proper homogenization.
  6. Perform serial dilutions of 10:100000 and proceed with your routine analysis for Total Plate count and coliform count.

Vial 2026MF39R1-V3

  1. Aseptically uncap the vial and rehydrate with 5 ml sterile saline peptone water (0.1% Peptone + 0.85% NaCl).
  2. Securely recap and allow 5 minutes rehydration at room temperature.
  3. Uncap container 2026MF39R1-2 and aseptically transfer 10 g to the sterile bag/bottle/flask and add 85 ml of diluent to each bag/bottle/flask.
  4. Homogenize thoroughly.
  5. Empty rehydrated vial content to the diluent prepared in above step ensuring proper homogenization.
  6. Perform serial dilutions of 10:100000 and proceed with your routine analysis for Yeast and Mould.

Raw Data Submission

  • Upload clear photographs of plates for all analytes tested.
  • Upload photographs of biochemical tests performed.
  • Accepted formats: JPG, PNG, PDF | Max size: 5 MB each.
Note: Ensure images are in focus and labeled with sample ID, dilution, and date.
