Envirocare Labs Proficiency Testing Wins Top Honours at NABL 9th PTP/RMP Conclave 2025
Chandigarh, August 24, 2025:
The National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL) successfully concluded its 9th PTP/RMP Conclave on August 21–22, 2025, at The LaLiT, Chandigarh. The two-day event, hosted by Green Economy Initiatives Pvt. Ltd., was held under the theme “Raising the Bar”, bringing together leading laboratories, proficiency testing providers, regulators, and quality professionals from across the country.
Envirocare Labs, accredited for Proficiency Testing (PT) services under ISO/IEC 17043, emerged as one of the standout participants at the conclave. The laboratory showcased its commitment to delivering “Make in India” PT programs that strengthen quality assurance across industries.
Highlights of Envirocare Labs’ Participation
- The Envirocare team presented a poster on “Empowering Laboratories through Microbiology PT to Drive National Water Quality Standards”.
- A paper presentation titled “Raising the Bar for Spice Safety: Detection of Salmonella in Peppercorn” won the First Prize in the paper presentation competition.
- Dr. Nilesh Amritkar, Managing Director of Envirocare Labs, shared insights during a panel discussion on “Challenges in Conducting Biological PT Schemes, Handling Collusion, and Strengthening Robustness of PT Programs.”
Speaking at the event, representatives from Envirocare Labs emphasized the need for quality-driven PT schemes that not only improve laboratory competence but also contribute to national priorities such as food safety, spice export compliance, and safe water standards.
To Host 10th PTP/RMP Conclave in 2026
In recognition of its outstanding contributions, Envirocare Labs was announced as the host of the 10th PTP/RMP Conclave in 2026. The upcoming edition is expected to highlight advancements in PT programs, global collaborations, and India’s growing leadership in laboratory quality assurance.
The 9th conclave once again reinforced NABL’s role in promoting accreditation, transparency, and international best practices for laboratories in India, while also underscoring the importance of collaborations with organizations like Envirocare Labs in shaping the future of testing and calibration.
