- Confirm sample integrity upon receipt and notify the PT Provider if damaged.
- Record date of receipt and store under the specified conditions until analysis.
- Initiate analysis within 48 hours of receipt.
- Treat PT items like routine samples and use standard methods unless otherwise instructed.

Revival Instructions
Vial 2025MF04R1-V1
- Aseptically uncap the vial and rehydrate with 5 ml sterile saline peptone water (0.1% Peptone + 0.85% NaCl).
- Securely recap and allow 5 minutes rehydration at room temperature.
- Uncap container 2025MF04R1-1:
- Transfer 10 g of sample matrix to sterile bag/bottle/flask.
- Empty the vial 2025MF04R1-V1 to 85ml of dilluent ensuring thorough homogenization of the sample.
- Perform serial dillution at (101 – 105) and proceed with your routine analysis of total plate count and Enteroabacteriaceae.
Vial 2025MF04R1-V2
- Aseptically uncap the vial and rehydrate with 5 ml sterile saline peptone water (0.1% Peptone + 0.85% NaCl).
